14 MILES to the FINISH LINE

This past year has been especially challenging for many students and their families. In an effort to encourage community and a sense of achievement among our students, we’ve set a special school-wide goal of finishing 14 walking or running miles by the end of the academic year.

With the commitment to move a little each day, “14 MILES to the FINISH LINE” is a school-wide exercise that promotes mind/body health, a sense of well-being and accomplishment happening now until the end of the school year!

Broken down, that’s roughly 2 laps around our trail-track per day for a total of 73, 920 feet or 70 laps! Students are encouraged to exercise with their friends, while enjoying the fresh air and sun. We’re ready to celebrate each student who puts in the work and commits to finishing the year 14 MILES STRONGER!
